29 May 2023, Dublin, Ireland
We have some very exciting news!
In June, we are moving to new facilities, which will more than double our production capacity as well as the office space for our growing R&D team.
At the same time as moving, we are taking the opportunity to change our company name to reflect our 2019 acquisition by Westermo, a leading supplier of Industrial Data Communications equipment. Westermo was founded in 1975 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed company, Ependion AB. (formerly Beijer Electronics Group AB).
While our address and name will change, we want to assure you that our commitment to delivering a class-leading range of industrial devices that are designed, developed, and manufactured in Ireland continues.
We will continue to maintain and develop our current model range of routers, operating system, our ‘Activator’ deployment solution, and our website – where you will find all necessary support documents.
We will retain the Virtual Access brand exclusively in all markets globally, while our deeper integration within Westermo will allow us to increase and accelerate our R&D investment levels in new and additional ranges of routers under the Westermo brand such as the Merlin Series.
These changes will become effective during June 2023. From June 12th all deliveries and communication should be made to Block A, Westland Park, Dublin 12, D12 V598, Ireland.
Since its founding in 1996, the Virtual Access team has led pioneering research and development (R&D) in “zero-touch” deployment of data equipment and central office infrastructure products. We are excited to continue this journey as Westermo Ireland through our Design and Manufacturing Centres of Excellence in Dublin and look forward to continuing our relationship with you as we enter the next phase of expansion, growth, and customer commitment.
On behalf of our entire management team and our employees and our parent company Westermo, we want to thank you for your many years of loyalty and express our continued gratitude and sincere thanks for all the support and cooperation you have given us over the years.
