Virtual Access Has a New Strategic Partner for the Asian-Pacific Market

24/07/13, Dublin, Ireland. Virtual Access is delighted to announce they have a new strategic partner for the growing Asian-Pacific market. N’osairis is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and are solution experts for the banking, retail, telecommunication and global infrastructure operations industry.

Due a concerted global marketing campaign, Virtual Access has attracted major interest in areas such as Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Brunei, Myamar, Indonesia and Singapore. N’osairis was looking for a 4 port 3G router with sufficient technology to meet requirements for a technical solution for two major customers. The first, the largest local retailer in Malaysia required an access router for the retail outlets nationwide to communicate to the retail HQ for point of sale, CCTV and inventory updates. The second client, the biggest gaming operator in Malaysia needed a backup solution for their wired leased line to issue real-time gaming tickets.

Following technical discussions between Virtual Access and N’osairis’ pre-sales and engineering teams, a solution for each project using the VA GW2040 router was designed, evaluated and tested successfully.

Balasubramaniam Manikam, Head of Technical Design and Strategy at N’osairis, commented, “We chose Virtual Access over other leading brand products as, after evaluation testing we found the GW2040 had superior dual 3G support with very fast convergence time from the first SIM to the second SIM. Secondly, the advanced scripting capabilities enabled us to tailor the solution to suit the customer needs quickly without having to request new features in the next software release. We also were very impressed with the user friendly CLI and web console.” He continued, “as well as a competitively priced product, we also had very good support throughout the process from the VA technical team. The device delivery was very fast, enabling us to deliver the project on the committed time line.

Patrick Conway, Sales Director of Virtual Access, added, ” Technical excellence coupled with domain expertise is the key to success for critical applications such as Automatic Teller Machines, gaming, utilities and the migration of legacy services. Our partnership with N’Osairis provides this and more. We look forward to future close collaboration with N’Osairis to meet the challenges of providing critical application connectivity and seamless IP migration in this growing region.”
