01/10/13 Dublin, Ireland. Virtual Access is delighted to announce they are exhibiting at European Utility Week, Amsterdam.
During 15th – 17th October, 350+ of the world’s leading solution providers in the smart energy value chain will come together to showcase their customer offerings in smart metering, grid, data management, billing, transmission, distribution and smart homes.
Along with other leading technology companies, Virtual Access will be showcasing the GW7300 Industrial M2M router, designed for use in outdoor equipment and cabinets at roadsides, substations and remote telemetry locations. It supports all common wireless connectivity standards such as LTE, 3G, GPRS, CDMA 450 and DSL. Applications include SCADA, telemetry, security, emergency services and other critical infrastructure. The GW7300 can be automatically provisioned over an IP network with a minimum of effort using the Virtual Access Activator auto provisioning server. This means that the units can be deployed without requiring any configuration by installers.
As well as the GW7300, you can see the GW8000 AAN Gateway, designed to seamlessly migrate legacy equipment to DSL/wireless networks. It supports digital and analogue leased line data and telephony services over an IP/Ethernet Network without the need to replace legacy equipment.
Also featured is the GW9000 Remote Management Unit. This device provides a mixture of serial, Ethernet, digital I/O, analogue I/O and a fully featured DSL/wireless/leased line router. This means that a single device on remote sites provides both telemetry and routing; a single central site management system supervises the remote site elements. It is designed to operate in low or high temperature unmanned environments with very high communications reliability, rapid diagnostics, fault reporting and resolution.
Patrick Conway and Evert Ruiten are looking forward to meeting you at European Utility Week on Stand 1.B06.
