2015 – Our Year in Review

08/01/16, Dublin, Ireland. In 2015, we formed further global partnerships, including:

Europe

Working with a major European emergency services integrator for the deployment of the GW3300 rugged dual radio routers to provide high speed, reliable connectivity for police, ambulance, fire and military vehicles in Europe. The device includes dual radios for WAN access and a separate radio for WiFi in a rugged IP-rated metal case. While in Sweden, DCG is currently rolling out Activator – our provisioning and management system – for business-critical retail services in the Nordics region.

We also welcomed Ormazabal, Spain, Kapsch, Austria and Qenergie, Portugal as partners for the deployment of substation routers in European DSOs and TSOs at secondary and primary substations. Our enhanced dual path substation routers with DNP3, IEC101, IEC 104 support, provide improved SCADA connectivity reliability by switching to a backup wireless network when connectivity is poor on the primary network. Along with Activator, our solutions provided managed substation connectivity, scalable to tens of thousands of sites, for smart grid, smart metering and distribution automation applications.

Orange (OBS) France, in conjunction with our partner FirstWAN, deployed a fully supported up to date platform using Activator, industrial routers and AOS RAS, so that legacy business services can be reliably supported into the future for thousands of OBS customers.

Indonesia

Telkomsel is the largest Telecommunications carrier in Indonesia with 122 million subscribers. They chose Virtual Access in conjunction with local partners N’osairis, to provide Activator and Monitor provisioning and monitoring, combined with dual path routers for the deployment of business critical IoT services.

Singapore

Our AOS Remote Access Server is providing Singapore Telcoms provider, SingTel with a fully supported up to date platform so that Dial PSTN services can be reliably supported into the future.
