Westermo develops and manufactures advanced devices for industrial data communication, used in mission critical installations and harsh industrial environments. Our technology is used to deliver services to end customers worldwide in markets such as financial transactions (automatic teller machine), Smart Grid and Smart Metering, public transportation, and national lotteries. Our product range includes a range of routers that are integral in providing services based on 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, VDSL, Ethernet, M2M, IoT and VoIP.
Virtual Access sets the standard in the automation of high-volume deployment of complex IP services. Our Activator server platform provides the ability to deploy and manage very large numbers of routers and other network elements with minimal manual intervention. This role is a permanent role in a rapidly growing international company.
The successful candidate will have 3 – 5 years’ experience
The successful candidate will work from our offices in Park West Business Park, Dublin 12.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of Monthly Financial Reports, Annual Financial Statements and any other internal or external reports required, ensuring that they are completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
- Preparation, analysis and posting of journals at month end
- Support preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations at month end
- Calculation, posting and analysis of monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring that all items are accurately captured
- Preparation of multi-currency bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of variance analysis and standard cost updates as required
- Provide cost information to management and other departments as required
- Collaboration with external audit staff for periodic year-end review procedures and local statutory audits as required
Requirements
- Accounting qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Third Level degree or equivalent
- Experience of IFS would be advantageous
- ERP Systems experience is preferable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Ability to work alone and to understand and summarise financial data into quality, accurate and usable summaries
- Strong computer skills in MS Office & Excel

- Director of Finance
