We have a vacancy for the role of IT Systems Administrator for a recent graduate.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor and resolve IT tickets supporting company employees for both hardware and software issues
- Manage,monitor and troubleshoot core network infrastructure issues
- Configuring servers, firewalls, routers and switches in accordance with IT and security policies
- Configuration and monitoring of cloud-based services
- Coordinate with the IT manager and wider IT team in regards to ongoing projects
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Coordinate with suppliers when required
- Occasional work outside of normal business hours will be required
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Internet Protocol and related protocols and services
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, IT administration tools, network and server equipment and configurations
- Good verbal and written communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external staff and suppliers
- Working knowledge of cloud services
- Working knowledge of active directory services
- Knowledge of scripting would be advantageous but not necessary
- Ability to work alone and drive mini projects forward
Qualifications
- 3rd level qualification
- Cisco CCNA or better
- Cyber security qualifications would be advantageous but not necessary
