We have a vacancy for the role of IT Systems Administrator for a recent graduate.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor and resolve IT tickets supporting company employees for both hardware and software issues
  • Manage,monitor  and troubleshoot core network infrastructure issues
  • Configuring servers, firewalls, routers and switches in accordance with IT and security policies
  • Configuration and monitoring of cloud-based services
  • Coordinate with the IT manager and wider IT team in regards to ongoing projects
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
  • Coordinate with suppliers when required
  • Occasional work outside of normal business hours will be required

 

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Internet Protocol and related protocols and services
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, IT administration tools, network and server equipment and configurations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external staff and suppliers
  • Working knowledge of cloud services
  • Working knowledge of active directory services
  • Knowledge of scripting would be advantageous but not necessary
  • Ability to work alone and drive mini projects forward

Qualifications

  • 3rd level qualification
  • Cisco CCNA or better
  • Cyber security qualifications would be advantageous but not necessary
